What we keep, and why

Last updated 14 October 2026

We collect only what we need to cook your order, get it to you, and tell you when the next Roti Day is on. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.

What we collect

How we use it

How we improve the site

We use PostHog to see which pages are visited, how far people get through ordering, and where an order gets stuck. This includes recordings of visits to our pages, which help us find and fix problems. Everything you type into a form is hidden in these recordings, and we don't attach your name to them. PostHog stores an anonymous ID in your browser to link the pages of one visit, and keeps the data in the United States.

What's stored on your device

Your browser keeps your cart, the details from your last order or signup (so you don't have to type them again), and any referral or early-access code. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. We don't use advertising cookies.

Who else handles it

A few services do part of the work for us: DimePay (card payments), Cloudflare (blocking bots on our signup forms), PostHog (site measurement), Vercel and Convex (hosting this site and our order system), Resend (sending emails), and WhatsApp (messages).

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the business and keep our accounts. You can leave the Roti Day list at any time.

Your rights

Under Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@rotistreak.com, or message us on WhatsApp on the same number we send Roti Day updates from.

Questions about any of this? Email hello@rotistreak.com or message us on WhatsApp.
